Houston, ‘Americas most wanted’ R&B singer and the man behind the number 1 hit “I Like That” and “Love You Down” has confirmed his one night only special performance held for the first time in the Middle East at ‘The MIX’ at the Grand Hyatt on Wednesday 26th of January. Houston, live in Dubai, is brought by Vibe Middle East, the region’s leading entertainment agency in association with Axe, the world’s largest male toiletries brand, the event’s title sponsor.
“Houston has so much talent; he’s rising through the ranks of the R & B industry and has such a great future in music. His unique blend of hip hop and R & B brings such a fun flavor to the dance floor,” said Yassin Matbouly, Managing Director of Vibe Middle East. “The MIX is a great club and with Houston in the house, it’s going to be a great night. R&B (Rhythm and Blues) is extremely popular in Dubai and the crowd will be on their feet caught up in the hype all night long.”
Houston grew up in Los Angeles and began his career free-styling on street corners and drawing crowds with his rich vocal talents. Not long after he caught the eye of entertainment giant Capital Records and found himself with a record deal and ‘It’s Already Written’, his debut album. His first single, “I Like It Like That” exploded onto the scene and is making its way up the charts.

Vibe has also been responsible for performances by Erick Morillo, Paul Oakenfold and John Digweed.
